Christian Lopez has been in the culinary field for over 10 years. He has worked as a Chef de cuisine at one of the top restaurants in Salt Lake City, mentoring many inspiring chefs. After working in restaurants for many years, Christian gained a passion for helping others and developed an appetite for something more.
This passion led him to join our Beacon Crest family where his knowledge and love for food preparation combined with his cheerful and lighthearted attitude created a joyful atmosphere for the residents.
Born and raised in San Francisco, California he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he started his career in cooking. His talents range from scratch cooking comfort food to preparing modern cuisines from all around the world. In his role as Executive Chef at Beacon Crest, he can now incorporate his experience as well as the many techniques he has learned throughout the years to provide delicious and healthy scratch cooking for our residents.
When not working Christian loves spending time with his wife and Son. In his spare time, he loves reading, researching and learning more about gastronomy, and going out for walks with his family.
