Executive Director

Dave grew up in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  He went on to get his CPA certificate and has owned and operated his own CPA practice for over 30 years. In his spare time, he loves traveling with his wife Tracey, reading, and spending time with six adult children, spouses and many grandchildren.

While running a CPA practice, Dave owned and operated many other businesses, including real estate, building and remodeling and a homecare business. Through all his businesses, helping people has been a common thread. Whether it was helping families plan financially or finding appropriate care for seniors, Dave has found joy in using his knowledge to help others.

With Dave’s business and real estate knowledge and overwhelming love for seniors, he developed Beacon Crest. He believes seniors’ lives can be positively impacted and improved living in a home with well-trained staff and ample social activities.

As Executive Director, Dave wants to empower the staff through training so Beacon Crest can be a place of trust, loyalty and fun.  He has stated many times that the assisted living home may be beautiful, but it is the loving and caring staff that will make it feel like a home where the senior can thrive.
