"Where to begin? Our mother had been struggling with her health but wanted to remain at home. We adult children are concerned for our parents' safety but want to respect their independence. Unfortunately, Mom fell at the beginning of the year and broke her hip. After getting her through surgery and immediate rehabilitation, we moved her to Beacon Crest for respite. She had barely spent a week there when I received the call. "I love it here, and I want to move here permanently." While I thought this was a brilliant idea, I suggested she give it a few weeks to make sure. She called me exactly two weeks later, and we made the arrangements. Why Beacon Crest Senior Living? When I walked into Beacon Crest, I felt like I was walking into a resort. Spacious rooms, elegantly designed. Bright sunlit common areas welcome you to spend time with your parent. The food tastes like you are in a fine dining restaurant. When I looked at the other residents, they looked joyful. It was nothing like the homes I had seen before. In the past, I have volunteered at a variety of senior living communities. I have found many to be disconcerting. There is often a high ratio of residents to caregivers, a depressing atmosphere: and, let's face it, a strange smell when you walk in. Beacon Crest is like nothing you have seen before. It is incredible! My family and I would like to thank the staff for the gentle care, continued kindness, and professional knowledge they bring to each day. My mom has made a community of friends and has found her second family. She enjoys delicious meals each day, receives the care she needs, and most importantly, is thriving. Thank you, Beacon Crest, for going well above and beyond in caring for our mom. If you are considering senior living communities, do yourself a favor and visit this place!"

"I loved having my mom at Beacon Crest! After touring the home I knew I had found the right place. The home was clean, the meals healthy, the staff excellent! I was over the top impressed! I was very involved with my mom daily, and knowing she was being taken care of when I was not able to be there was so helpful, she needed more care than one person could give and the staff was so tentative to her all day and night, they became family to us as well as some of the residents, they were all so welcoming since day one. She made friends and built relationships. There was always fun and creative activities and they involved all who wanted to come. The staff was very knowledgeable in what each induvial resident needs As my mom started to decline and hospice became more involved so did the staff giving her exceptional care and comfort. They were so supportive of myself as well and I will never forget. I feel tremendous gratitude to the staff and owners of Beacon Crest."

"Our mom had a fall that ended up requiring hospitalization and subsequent care at a local rehabilitation center. When the time came for her to be released we were frantic as to where she could go as returning home was not an option. A secondary medical situation had developed and she had been placed under hospice care. We reached out to every assisted and senior living facility In the valley. Each one was hesitant and frankly not willing to admit her. Skilled nursing seemed to be our only option, which unfortunately was not an agreeable solution for our family. We heard of Beacon through our case worker at the rehab center and immediately reached out to their team and were invited for a tour. After explaining the situation at hand, they immediately offered up a solution for our mom and we were welcomed with open arms to the Beacon Crest family. It is with great emotion that I post this review. Our mother’s life has been extended by being at Beacon. Their care for “the one” has been unprecedented. The meals, lifestyle, staff, care and flexibility is beyond measure. It is comforting to know that she is in a location that is providing for her essential care."

"Beacon Crest is a large beautiful home which provides individual apartments. It has an open floor plan which encourages social gatherings. The management and nurses/aids are exceptional. My mom received "over the top" care for the short time she lived there. I highly recommend Beacon Crest."

"This is a very sincere review from a technician who has no ties to Beacon Crest other than their piano! I have been in more Senior Living Centers than I can count. Player pianos are a wonderful addition to pretty much any organization but especially to a place where families need some help taking care of their loved ones. Beacon Crest has a player piano and it brings a lot of joy to the people who work there and also to the wonderful residents. I personally lost my mom just 3 months ago. I understand that trusting someone else to take care of the one who gave you your life is a very big deal. I was struck by how nice and gentle the owners are with the residents that they take care of. It seriously seemed like a little family to me. I watched the owners interact with the moms and dads they take care of. And I also observed how gentle the staff is with everyone there. Even the nice lady in the kitchen took really good care of the people that were dining. Speaking of which they have an open kitchen. This was really cool. I've never seen anything like it. It's like you're sitting their with your family as dinner is being prepared right in front of your eyes. If I had to have help with one of my parents this is exactly where I would go. And one last thing... there was an elderly woman sitting there at the kitchen and a very kind lady was holding her hand and talking to her. I was touched by her kindness. I thought she was a worker there but as it turns out the nice lady was actually the elderly woman's daughter. This is actually very wonderful. Her daughter was just as comfortable being there as her mother. Which led me to believe that loved ones can come and go as they please which means everything. Sorry that my review was so long but that was my very pleasant experience there! Out of all the places I've seen here in Utah this was one really stood out. You don't have to worry if your loved one will be taken care of. They will. :)"

"Thank you for creating a place that we could just come and enjoy being with Grandma. My visits there, with Grandma, I will cherish forever. My youngest daughter still asks to come to Beacon Crest to visit! That’s how much we enjoyed your parties, activities, food, staff and atmosphere. "Beacon Crest has the most caring and beautiful staff. Mom never wanted to leave her home and unfortunately a time came where an assisted living was needed. We searched for an experienced group of care takers and we also looked for cleanliness with friendly and warm people. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice here at Beacon Crest. "I had a tour of Beacon Crest, and was very impressed with its beauty, the spacious and modern apartments, the beautiful kitchen and delicious food prepared by the chef, but most especially the staff. The staff were highly qualified, tender, understanding, and incredibly professional. The entire home had a feeling of "home," rather than a homey-feel just within each apartment. The staff were attentive and well-qualified. I would have my mother live there with complete confidence in her care and comfort. I only hope my children would find such a place when I am need!"

"Visited Beacon Crest to get some free bread they advertised. WOW! This place did not disappoint. I was greeted right away, afford more than just the bread. This place is first class from top to bottom. Even was able to speak to a resident ans she absolutely loves it there. I will be back to visit more often. If anyone has a chance to go here, I would highly recommend giving them a look, you will be as impressed as I. Again WOW!"

"Beacon Crest is an incredible Assisted Living Community. After being involved in the Senior Care Industry for the past 10 years this is definitley where I would want my loved ones to go. The attention to every detail is exquisite and the dedicated and caring staff is truly second to none. The food is wonderful and the community itself is big enough to roam and have your own space yet small enough to truly care and provide the best of the best care to the residents there. If there was ever a near perfect Assisted Living Facility this is it."

"If I were searching for an assisted living for my parents in the Salt Lake valley, this would be the place. The interior is designed with many details in mind that make it feel more like a home than a facility. With things such as a wrap around porch and many sitting/living spaces it is one of the best senior communities I have visited."

I have had several loved ones and friends in senior living facilities and the atmosphere both inside and out at Beacon Crest is is by far the most beautiful home imaginable. I was very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the staff. I loved all the amenities which were offered to the residents. "Beacon Crest is a new niche of Senior Living I've never witnessed before. It is intimate, very high end, and they have the capacity to wait hand and foot if desired on their residents. I was in awe just walking into the lobby. This definitely does not look and feel like a typical assisted living."

"I first came to Beacon Crest to heal from surgery and had only planned on staying for a couple of weeks. After a few days of living in this beautiful place, I knew I had found my next home. The loving staff treats you like family, the chefs create beautiful and delicious meals, and the daily activities and events have made this move my best decision yet. Three years have passed, and I have made a new circle of friends, tried new activities, seen new places, and learned new things. I have peace of mind knowing the staff is ready to help me if I need them. With the worries off my plate, I am able to enjoy each day with my friends having a great time. "My grandmother lives here and she absolutely loves it! She has made so many friends with their very fun activities. She also gets the best food and they always accommodate if she wants something different. Plus they always have cookies for visitors too. Everytime I visit or volunteer, there is always staff coming in to check on her or invite her to an activity. It doesn’t feel like an assisted living at all. It feels like a very large home, which I know has helped ease my grandmothers transition from her own home. The staff are always so friendly and willingly to take the time to get to know your family. I never worry that she is being thoroughly taken care of and always look forward to my visits."

"I am the Owner and Operator of Guardian EMT, a Utah County based emergency training program, and we have partnered with Beacon Crest for years in order to provide ALL of their staff members with an American Heart Association CPR/AED/ First Aid training on an ongoing basis. I am very impressed with the fact that their owners and management team have taken it upon themselves to make sure that ALL of their staff has a basic life support certification! When you walk in, you can be assured that the management team, activity staff, nursing staff, and even their culinary team are ALL at least CPR certified! This is an amazing find! For families who are looking for a home for a loved one, rest assured that Beacon Crest has taken every measure to assure that their staff has the basic medical training to assist your loved one with any potential medical hazards that may arise. I have worked in emergency medicine for over a decade, and I cannot express enough how often I have walked into facilities like this and NO ONE makes any resuscitative effort for their residents, let alone REQUIRE that their staff hold this very basic certification. As an EMS responder, I have often left facilities disheartened because of the lack of care and attention that I have found at these facilities. Beacon Crest is a hidden gem and by my account, really sets the standard that hopefully others will follow. Everyone who works at a facility like this should know basic life support because you never know when a medical issue will arise. Whether you are in their dining area, theater room, hallway, or foyer, there is ALWAYS someone there who is CPR/First Aid trained!"
